Two of us had the first meal of our trip to Athens, here and what a way to start. When we sat down, they told us that the fish and meat items weren't ready yet, it was 9.30am.
We ordered,
1. Cucumber, Tomato Salad
2. Bread
3. Spicy Feta Cheese spread
4. Giant Beans cooked in the oven
5. Zucchini Balls(served with Tzatziki) - My favourite dish
6. Freshly squeezed Orange Juice
What a feast! Portions are quite big and each plate can be shared by 3-4 if you want to try more than 4 dishes. The food's simple, delicious and so affordable. We wanted to eat more, but were too full and skipped having lunch after. We'll just have to go back tomorrow for some Orzo, Stuffed vegetables and Mussels.- Food & drinks

Looking for traditional Greek food? This place has amazing dishes. I looked everywhere to eat Greek food and I was lucky to find this restaurant. The service is terrific, and the food even more so! Also affordable and fair prices.

Great place to stop for lunch near the Central Market. Share a few Mazes of different small plates and enjoy. We tried fried calamari (called squeed here), Cod with Skordalia, Greek Salad, Stuffed Pepper…

Absolutely fabulous. We got chicken, fried octopus, fried vegetables and zucchini balls with garlic and the taste of each one of them was phenomenal, authentic and very very fresh! And the prices are very reasonable! Go to this place, it’s worth it!

The best in Athens! The food is delicious and the prices are incredibly low! Since there is no info online I tell you that they are open from 7 for breakfast and from 10 to 18:00/18:30 for lunch (no dinner). The fish and vegetables dish you see in the photo is just 8,5€ and the 0,5 draft beer only 3€!

I was randomly looking for a "hidden" restaurant packed with locals, this was the spot. Even though my wife was a bit reluctant to sit there, once we tasted food we felt like in a food heaven. Went there 3 times in 3 days. Cherry on the top - it was for a bargain.

We got here by accident as the Diporto restaurant that was recommended to us was closed for vacation. And it was great we got here. Fresh, simple greek food in normal price set for local people not just tourists. Highly recommend🤌🏼

Good food and good prices
La comida estaba deliciosa. El pescado estaba riquísimo y muy fresco. El queso feta y los pimientos asados también estaban muy muy buenos. Lo recomiendo al 200%. Súper bien de precio y atención muy buena. Si podemos repetiremos!!!!

The food was delicious. The fish was delicious and very fresh. The feta cheese and roasted peppers were also very, very good. I highly recommend it. The price was super good and the service was excellent. We'll definitely go back!

הגענו חבורה של 10 גברים רעבים, אכלנו ושתינו כאילו אין מחר.. (טיסה הביתה). בסוף הארוחה על השולחן נשארו ערמות של כוסות וצלחות חרסינה לבנות ריקות . השירות היה מאוד אדיב, מהיר ויעיל, והאוכל מצויין, פשוט וטוב, מסעדת פועלים , פירות ים הכי טובה שהייתי, ואז מגיע החשבון...10€ לאדם כולל הכל... התמורה לכסף הכי טובה שקיבלתי אי פעם במסעדה בעולם !!!

We arrived as a group of 10 hungry men, we ate and drank like there was no tomorrow.. (flight home). At the end of the meal, there were piles of empty white porcelain cups and plates on the table. The service was very kind, fast and efficient, and the food was excellent, simple and good, a workers' restaurant, the best seafood I've been to, and then the bill arrived...10€ per person including everything... The best value for money I've ever received in a restaurant in the world!!!
